PROFILE Dave Barrett is an independent freelance photographer based in West Wicklow. His images are used regularly by local publications and have featured in the national media including front page photos on both the Irish Independent and Irish Times and main images for feature articles in the Irish Examiner.
Dave is regularly commissioned to cover events and his images have been used in everything from a poster campaign and front cover programme image for an All-Ireland football tournament to illustrating an article for an international hotel's annual guest book. He was assigned to work on a special book of photos to celebrate the 125th anniversary of the GAA in Wicklow.
The websites were set up originally to supplement the photos appearing weekly in papers for those who wanted to see more event photos.
